These are unprecedented times.
We all have a responsibility to consider not just ourselves, but all the people of our country, the local community and on this caravan site.
We are having to make decisions and take actions which were unimaginable a few weeks ago.
We will NOT be opening, as planned.
We ask owners not to stay in their holiday caravan at this time and to be sensitive towards the views and needs of the local community and NHS.
We are following advice from the government and BH+HPA.
We are asking owners not to come to their caravan. We are temporarily closing to protect you and the wider society. The governments clear guidance is that there must be no unnecessary or non-essential travel and travel to holiday parks or second homes for either isolation purposes or holidays does not count as essential travel. People should remain at their primary residence. Not taking these steps puts additional pressure on local services and hospitals already under extreme pressure.
As we are temporarily closed at the current time, Caravan owners should NOT travel to their holiday home.
We are only a few days into this crisis, nobody can say if the lockdown will be a matter of weeks or even months.
We are performing regular security checks on the caravan site and CCTV has recently been installed and is regularly monitored so please rest assured that your holiday home is safe.
The water and electricity, to the site, has been turned off to all pitches during this time to maintain safety and reduce the chances of problems arising.
The site entrance remains locked.
Any owner who has any further concerns, please text or call Neil on 07775580403.
This is a constantly evolving situation and updates will be posted here.

The Gap Caravan Site is located in a fantastic position, footsteps away from the beach, we are on the cliff tops of East Runton in North Norfolk, just over a mile away from Cromer town centre.
We have remarkable views of the sea and the surrounding countryside. Cromer pier, church and lighthouse can also be seen from most parts of the site. There is a slope opposite our entrance which goes straight down to East Runtons very own Blue Flag beach, leading to hours of fun to be had building sandcastles or searching for crabs in the rock pools at low tide. East Runton also offers two pubs, a Greek restaurant, Fish & chips and a convenience shop.
Within waking distance there is the town of Cromer, with its Blue Flag sandy beaches, famous pier, Church, numerous cafes and shops, museum, cinema and the end of pier 'Seaside Special' shows. There is also a train station which runs direct to the fine city of Norwich, which is 40 minutes away.
Sheringham, a short five minute drive away, is another busy seaside town. It has the 'Splash' Leisure Pool as well as beautiful gardens to see at Priory Maze and Gardens. There is also the opportunity to hop on the North Norfolk Steam Railway to take a ride to the Georgian town of Holt.
Whatever time of year you choose to holiday at Gap Caravan Park you are bound to find plenty to see and do and one thing is certain - one visit is never enough.
All of the caravans on The Gap are privately owned and therefore none are hired out directly through us. However, many caravans are sub let through their owners and many are advertised on
